Adopt Prudence, a sweet pit-terrier mix
This week’s BND Pet of the Week is Prudence, a 2 1/2 -year-old pitbull-terrier mix with a honey brown coat and a white chest. She is young and easy to train. Prudence is full of energy and in good health.
She was found as a stray by animal control, and was brought to the Belleville Area Humane Society back in March. At that time, Prudence had recently had a litter of puppies, but since then she has been spayed. She has been adopted before, but was returned because the family couldn’t keep up with her and they wanted Prudence to live a happy and active life.
Prudence is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses. She likes to chew on squeaky toys and get belly rubs. Very active, Prudence enjoys running and burning off some of the energy she has and will sleep through the night after a long day. Prudence would enjoy a family with a large yard and teenage children who can keep up with her. An outdoorsy family would be great for her.
She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all required vaccinations.
