Illinois reports 125 more deaths due to coronavirus, bringing latest total to 1,072
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported yet another increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the state Thursday.
During his daily COVID-19 news conference, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced 1,140 new cases of the virus and 125 additional deaths.
The announcement brings the statewide total of positive coronavirus cases to 25,733 and the total number of deaths to 1,072.
