Coronavirus cases, deaths continue to rise in Illinois. Here are the latest numbers.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported yet another increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the state Sunday.
During the state’s daily COVID-19 news conference, Illinois Director of Public Health Dr. Ngozi Ezike announced 1,197 new cases of the virus and 33 additional deaths.
The announcement brings the statewide total of positive coronavirus cases to 30,357 and the total number of deaths to 1,290.
