Number of coronavirus deaths in St. Clair County rises to 19
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in southwestern Illinois has reached 694, while the number of deaths has increased to 35.
St. Clair County officials reported the death of a woman in her 90s with underlying conditions on Monday, bringing the county’s death total to 19.
Monroe County has reported, seven deaths and Madison County has had eight.
Statewide, 1,349 people with COVID-19 have died. A total of 31,508 cases had been reported as of Monday afternoon by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
