Illinois announces 119 new coronavirus deaths statewide
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported yet another increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the state Tuesday.
During the state’s daily COVID-19 news conference, officials announced 1,551 new cases of the virus and 119 additional deaths.
The announcement brings the statewide total of positive coronavirus cases to 33,059 and the total number of deaths to 1,468.
