Latest statewide coronavirus figures in Illinois include 140 new deaths
Illinois has 2,563 new COVID-19 cases and 140 additional deaths, health officials announced Thursday.
The announcement by the Illinois Department of Public Health brings the statewide total of coronavirus cases to 52,918 and the total number of deaths to 2,355.
