Number of coronavirus cases in Illinois passes 68,000, including 136 new deaths
Illinois has 2,270 new COVID-19 cases and 136 additional deaths, health officials announced Wednesday.
The announcement by the Illinois Department of Public Health brings the statewide total of coronavirus cases to 68,232 and the total number of deaths to 2,974.
