Number of Illinois coronavirus cases make another big jump, deaths top 3,000
Illinois has 2,641 new COVID-19 cases and 138 additional deaths, health officials announced Thursday.
The announcement by the Illinois Department of Public Health brings the statewide total of coronavirus cases to 70,873 and the total number of deaths to 3,111.
