Illinois health officials report 1,656 new cases of coronavirus, 57 more deaths

Illinois has 1,656 new COVID-19 cases and 57 more deaths, health officials announced Sunday.

The announcement by the Illinois Department of Public Health brings the statewide total of coronavirus cases to 77,741 and the total number of deaths to 3,406.
