Number of coronavirus deaths in Illinois eclipses 4,000 as 2,432 new cases announced
Illinois has 2,432 new COVID-19 cases and 130 more deaths, health officials announced Friday.
The announcement by the Illinois Department of Public Health brings the statewide total of coronavirus cases to 90,369 and the total number of deaths to 4,058.
As of Friday, the state had performed 538,602 tests.
