Latest Illinois coronavirus numbers include 2,294 new cases and 59 deaths statewide
The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 2,294 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 59 more people have died statewide.
Illinois has seen a total of 4,234 deaths across the state during the pandemic, officials reported Monday. A total of 96,485people have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
An additional 21,297 have been tested for the virus, IDPH said in a news release.
