The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Sunday that 1,343 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 60 more people have died statewide.
Illinois has seen a total of 5,390 deaths during the pandemic, officials reported. A total of 120,260 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
An additional 21,154 have been tested for the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of administered tests to 898,259, IDPH said in a news release.
