Latest coronavirus numbers in Southwestern Illinois include 46 new cases, 1 death
Four counties in Southwestern Illinois have reported 46 new coronavirus cases since Friday.
The new cases were in St. Clair, Madison, Monroe and Washington counties, health officials announced Saturday. Southwestern Illinois has had a total of 2,795 cases since the coronavirus pandemic started.
St. Clair County also reported another death, bringing the total to 105. The coronavirus patient who died was a woman in her 90s with unknown health conditions, according to the health department.
Across Southwestern Illinois, there have been a total of 208 deaths to the coronavirus.
