Illinois health officials announce 867 new coronavirus cases, 43 deaths statewide
Statewide, 867 new coronavirus cases and 43 more virus-related deaths have been reported, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced Sunday.
The new cases bring Illinois’ total to 127,757 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began. There have been a total of 5,904 deaths in the state.
Laboratories have performed more than 1 million coronavirus tests statewide, with 20,700 of them recorded since Saturday.
