Illinois health officials announce 595 new coronavirus cases, 77 deaths statewide
Statewide, 595 new coronavirus cases and 77 more virus-related deaths have been reported, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced Friday.
The new cases bring Illinois’ total to 131,198 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began. There have been a total of 6,260 deaths in the state.
Laboratories have performed 1,147,101 coronavirus tests statewide, with 24,774 of them recorded since Thursday
