St. Clair County reports 41 new cases of coronavirus, three additional deaths
St. Clair County reported another three additional deaths and 41 new confirmed cases of the virus Thursday.
County officials reported two men in their 70s and 80s, one woman in her 80s died due to coronavirus-related complications. All of the patients had underlying health conditions, according to county officials.
In Madison County, 17 new COVID-19 cases were reported Thursday.
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health said 766 additional people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 91 more people died in the previous 24 hours.
Illinois has seen a total of 6,185 deaths during the pandemic, officials reported. A total of 130,603 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
