St. Clair County reports two new coronavirus-related deaths
Health officials in southwestern Illinois are reporting 3,089 total cases of COVID-19 and 232 deaths in the region as of Sunday.
St. Clair County reported two new coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday, a man in his 90s and a woman in her 100s, both with underlying health conditions.
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health said 672 additional people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 19 more people died in the previous 24 hours.
Illinois has seen a total of 6,308 deaths during the pandemic, officials reported. A total of 132,543 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
