Illinois health officials announce 546 new coronavirus cases, 87 deaths statewide
Statewide, 546 new coronavirus cases and 87 more virus-related deaths have been reported, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced Wednesday.
The new cases bring Illinois’ total to 134,185 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began. There have been a total of 6,485 deaths in the state.
Laboratories have performed 1,258,328 coronavirus tests statewide, with 29,987 of them recorded since Tuesday.
