Latest Illinois coronavirus numbers include 849 new positive cases, 41 new deaths
Statewide, 894 new coronavirus cases and 41 new virus-related deaths have been reported, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced Thursday.
The new cases bring Illinois’ total to 139,434 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began. There have been a total of 6,810 deaths in the state.
Laboratories have performed more than 1.4 million coronavirus tests statewide, with 31,686 of them recorded since Wednesday.
