Need a COVID test or second booster? Here’s where you can find one now in Belleville

With COVID-19 cases trending downward in most Illinois counties, two Belleville testing locations have recently closed.

Here’s where you can still find testing, as well as boosters and vaccines.

Where can I get tested in Belleville?

The Walgreens at 515 Carlyle Ave. is offering free testing through a federal partnership and currently has appointments available for PCR laboratory tests. Results are typically available within 48 hours, and this test meets pre-travel requirements.

The Walgreens locations at 5939 Belleville Crossing St. and 5890 N Belt St. both have free PCR and rapid nucleic acid amplification tests (NAATs) available. The rapid test results should come back within two hours, and meet most pre-travel testing requirements, though you should check with your destination to be sure.

The CVS at 4609 West Main St. is also offering COVID-19 testing.
