O'Fallon City Administrator Walter Denton received the top salary in the city during 2017 at $164,455, which was $23,770 more than he was paid in 2016.
O'Fallon city worker salaries from 2017 are now online as part of the News-Democrat's public salary database. The city now has 606 full- and part-time employees, 59 more than were listed in 2011. The total payroll increased about $3.8 million during that time.
The average for full-time and part-time workers combined went from $19,622 to $23,925 during those six years.
The database now lists 2017 salaries for O'Fallon, Belleville, Swansea, Belleville Elementary District 118, St. Clair County, Madison County and Monroe County. New payrolls are being added regularly.
