Metro to provide special service for St. Louis Symphony concert

Metro plans to offer a special bus service on Wednesday for people attending the free St. Louis Symphony concert at Art Hill in Forest Park.

The 7 p.m. show is scheduled to include fireworks at the end of the night.

The special service, which will be free, is scheduled to operate from the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink station to Art Hill.

The special service is planned to operate every 30 minutes between 5:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m., and after the concert ends, between 8:45 p.m. and 9:28 p.m., Metro said.

Metro added, the special service will make stops at the Visitor Center parking lots and the Boathouse.

Even though thee special service to and from the concert on Art Hill Wednesday night is free, a validated paid ticket or pass is required to ride MetroLink or any other MetroBus route.
