Want to see Neil Diamond in concert? You’ll soon get your chance.

Tickets will go on sale soon for a concert by famed singer-songwriter Neil Diamond at the Scottrade Center.

The Grammy Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member will visit St. Louis in April as part of his 50 Year Anniversary World Tour, entertainment company Live Nation Entertainment announced Wednesday. The tour will begin in Fresno, California and span across cities in the U.S., Europe and the U.K., according to the official Neil Diamond website.

Tickets go on sale on Dec. 9 for the April 12 concert at LiveNation.com. The concert begins at 8 p.m. Tickets will range from $46.50 to $126.50, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Michael Rapino, president and CEO of Live Nation, said Diamond is “more than just a music icon.”

“His singular artistry and talent has left an indelible mark on American culture and has helped shape the sound of popular music for five decades,” Rapino said.

Diamond began his musical career in the 1960s and has sold more than 120 million albums around the world.
