Authorities investigate suspicious death at St. Louis city jail

Homicide investigators are looking into the death of a 21-year-old inmate who was found unresponsive Tuesday morning in his bed at the Justice Center at 200 S. Tucker Blvd.

Maleek Chambly of the 4700 block of Ashland Court was pronounced dead shortly after 10 a.m. at the scene.

Investigators are handling the situation as a suspicious death. The investigation continues.
