An old face is returning to the KSDK weather team

If you watch Channel 5, you’ll see an old face giving you the weather starting next week.

KSDK announced Wednesday that Chester Lampkin will return to the team after almost two years away. Lampkin was the weekend morning meteorologist from March 2012 until May 2015 when he left for a job in New Zealand.

Lampkin’s first day on the network is Friday. He’ll be on the air from 4 to 7 a.m. next week. Beginning April 7, he’ll work Tuesday to Saturday afternoons on the network.
