Rep. Davis’ comments on Syria air strike following chemical attack

U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Taylorville, commented Friday on President Donald Trump’s decision to fire missiles on Syria after President Bashar al-Assad deployed chemical weapons.

“The atrocities the world witnessed this week were not only horrific, but a threat to our national security. The swift action by President Trump and our military sent a clear message to the world that America will not tolerate the use of chemical weapons. I hope Assad hears this message loud and clear.”
