Gateway Grizzlies to honor area police at Wednesday game
Make sure to wear blue at the Gateway Grizzlies game May 24.
The Grizzlies are honoring police officers with a “Stand Up for Blue” night, making a tribute to the officers who serve in the metro-east and St. Louis area.
Tickets are discounted Wednesday night, with field box seats selling for $10 and lawn seats selling for $5. Half the money from the tickets purchased will go toward Backstoppers and the St. Louis County Police Welfare Association.
Before the game, there will be a canine demonstration.
The Grizzlies will play the Lake Erie Crushers. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. at GCS Credit Union Ballpark.
