The Illinois Department of Transportation plans to begin pavement patching work along the new U.S. 50 near Breese, the agency said.
U.S. 50 will be intermittently restricted to one lane from 0.4 miles west of St. Rose Road to Schoal Creek starting on Tuesday, IDOT said. The project is expected to be completed by July 31, weather permitting.
The concrete pavement patching on the route is planned daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., IDOT said.
