Firefighters get into the business to save lives and put out fires.
But often, things don’t go as planned, and the job can be less glamourous than it seems.
After fighting a field fire Monday, members of the Albion Fire Department found themselves helping police shovel spaghetti off the road.
Yep, spaghetti. You read that right.
A 4-foot-by-4-foot block of frozen cooked pasta had fallen off a trailer, blocking traffic, the department posted on Facebook.
Albion is a town of about 2,000 people in Edwards County.
