Construction beginning Tuesday will close the exit road at the main gate of the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Jeff Barnes, cemetery director, said one of the entrance lanes will be converted to an exit lane during the two- to four-week project.
This is the only entrance to the cemetery, Barnes said, so funeral corteges will use only one lane during the construction.
Parking on the avenue will be reserved for those participating in a funeral procession.
