Dig out that poncho, thunderstorms may visit metro-east Monday
Metro-east residents will see clouds fill the sky Monday afternoon as a chance of afternoon thunderstorms roll in after 3 p.m.
Forecasters are calling for a high Monday of 84 degrees and a low Monday night of 56 degrees.

Today ... Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 84 degrees. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Tonight ... Isolated showers before 11 p.m. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 56 degrees. Light and variable wind becoming northeast around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tuesday ... Sunny, with a high near 81 degrees. Light and variable wind.
Tuesday Night ... Mostly clear, with a low around 62 degrees. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
Wednesday ... Mostly sunny, with a high near 88 degrees. South wind 5 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Thursday ... A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 89 degrees.
