An O’Fallon man was sentenced to two years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
Christopher E. Pendegraft, 57, will have to serve two years in prison and five years of supervised released and pay a $375 fine, $2,000 in restitution and $5,100 in special assessments for possession of child pornography, according to a news release. He’ll also have to register as a sex offender.
Pendegraft was charged and sentenced for one count of child pornography in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. The case was filed as part of Project Safe Childhood, a national initiative that works to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
