East St. Louis man pushed pregnant woman to ground, police say
An East St. Louis man grabbed a pregnant woman’s arm and pushed her to the ground, police say.
Mario D. Washington, 21, has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a pregnant person. Washington was still in the St. Clair County Jail as of Monday evening, and his bail is set at $40,000.
Penalties for this charge include two to five years imprisonment, or five to 10 years if the court finds aggravating factors.
