Gunfire across street causes Cahokia High School lockdown

Cahokia high school was under a lockdown Thursday morning in response to gunfire across the street, a spokesperson for the high school said.

The spokeperson said they had been under lockdown since about 10 a.m. and did not know when it would be lifted.

Cahokia police were not releasing information Thursday morning about the incident.
