‘Ninja Warrior’-style obstacle course opens at St. Louis-area park
The city of Hazelwood, Missouri is inviting “all local Ninjas” to check out its new addition to a playground, which has just been completed.
The Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division replaced old racquetball courts with a new “Ninja Warrior”-style obstacle course at Howdershell Park, the department said on its Facebook page.
The park, which has 12 obstacles, is scheduled to open at 1 p.m. Saturday during Hazelwood’s Harvestfest.
“All local Ninjas are welcome to attend this event and try it out!” the parks division wrote on its Facebook page.
The ground has been replaced by soft turf in case people fall.
A call to determine the park’s new features was not immediately returned.
Howdershell Park is located at 6810 Howdershell Road in Hazelwood, which is about 45 minutes from Belleville.
