Actress says she got ‘Unbreakable’ attitude from hometown St. Louis
Actress Ellie Kemper’s characters are bright and cheerful, and she credits her hometown of St. Louis.
“Midwesterners have a reputation for being above-average friendly, but St. Louis takes the cake,” the actress told The Huffington Post.
Kemper is the title character on “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and played Erin Hannon on “The Office.”
She says St. Louis fans “are the greatest in the world” and she “of course” loves the local food, citing House of India and Ted Drewes.
