A St. Louis pastry chef is competing Monday on the Food Network’s Halloween Baking Championship, which has a grand prize of $25,000.

Tyler Davis, 32, is the pastry chef at Element in St. Louis. According to the Food Network, his background in musical theater helps give “a creative flair to his pastries.” For his Alchemy Artisan Bakery, he makes everything himself, down to the graham crackers and cream cheese, he told Feast magazine.

The show airs at 8 p.m. Monday on The Food Network.
