A man says he was blinded in one eye by a foul ball at Wrigley Field in Chicago. John Loos, of Schaumburg, has filed a lawsuit against the Chicago Cubs and Major League Baseball, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The newspaper reports that Loos was sitting near the field during a game on Aug. 29 when he was struck in the face by a line-drive foul ball.

The Cubs have said the team will extend the safety netting by at least 30 feet for the 2018 season.
