Trial begins for massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting customer
A massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting a customer in Edwardsville will stand trial this week in Madison County.
Jury selection began Tuesday morning in the trial of Ronnie Blom, 58, of Litchfield.
Police said Blom used or threatened to use force to assault a 42-year-old female victim on April 30, 2015 during a massage at Massage Luxe.
Opening statements were expected to begin Wednesday morning, according to the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office.
