Renoir painting may be at Art Institute, but Trump says he has real one
The millions of people who have a Renoir at the Chicago Art Institute have seen a fake one, President Trump has said.
“Two Sisters on the Terrace” has hung since 1933 at the Art Institute, which says it is the real one, the Chicago Tribune reports.
“Two Sisters on the Terrace” has also hung in Trump’s private jet before he became president, and he says it’s the real one. The story was retold by author Tim O’Brian on the podcast “Inside the Hive” this week. The painting was hanging in Trump Tower in 2016.
