Man shot during attempted armed robbery in Cahokia
A 21-year-old man was shot Thursday evening during an attempted armed robbery in Cahokia.
St. Clair County Sheriff Capt. Bruce Fleshren said the man was shot in the shoulder at County Line Quick Stop liquor store, located at 2913 Camp Jackson Road. The man was transported to Touchette Regional Hospital.
The shooting was still under investigation Thursday night, and police have no suspects so far, Fleshren said.
