Man shoots self in penis while running from people he robbed, police say
Chicago Police say a man robbed two people, and then shot himself in the penis as he ran away.
The 19-year-old man was in serious condition at Christ Medical Center, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Police said charges were pending.
The man is said to have held a gun on two people just after 6 a.m. Tuesday morning and taken their cell phones, wallets and cash. As he was running away, he shot himself, police said.
