A central Illinois reservoir lake known for fishing is closed, likely for the week, news reports say.
The Decatur Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are searching Lake Decatur, the Herald & Review reports. They are searching an area near Ivy Hill Park. Police said no other information will be released during the search, which is expected to last the week.
According to WAND-17 News in Decatur, it is the same area searched by police on Sept. 14 in connection with the death of a 22-year-old Decatur man.
Zachary Hubbartt was found dead in a vacant home on Aug. 27.
