Police search for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspects after convenience store robbery

Wood River police are asking the public to help identify two armed and dangerous people they say robbed a Casey’s General Store late Tuesday night.

Officers posted surveillance footage pictures of the two people on Facebook after early Wednesday morning and asked for the public’s help.

In the post they told people not to approach the two if seen in the area.

Police did not include what, if anything, was taken from the store or whether anyone was injured during the armed robbery.

Anyone with information or additional surveillance footage from the area is asked to call the Wood River Police Department at 618-251-3113.
