AT&T users hit with cell outage
AT&T customers are having problems making calls in a sporadic national outage Wednesday, according to news reports.
The website DownDetector.com tracked serious outages reported in St. Louis, Houston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orlando and Dallas, among others.
Customers reported they were trying to make calls and were immediately disconnected. Incoming calls went directly to voicemail. Many involved customers using iPhones, according to MacRumors.com.
AT&T’s Twitter account has received hundreds of calls for service Wednesday afternoon, with a high of 1,200 reports at 5 p.m., according to Fox 2.
AT&T recommended that users who are experiencing problems making calls restart their devices.
If you've experienced an issue when making wireless calls, please restart your device - that should resolve the issue.
