Boy Scouts collect nearly 2 million food items during Scouting for Food drive
Boy Scouts in the Greater St. Louis area collected 1.98 million food items Saturday during the 33rd annual Scouting for Food drive.
Scouts delivered more than one million bags to people’s doorsteps for residents to fill with canned goods. On Saturday, Scouts picked up the bags and delivered the donations to local food pantries.
Goodwill, the 2017 Scouting for Food sponsor, is still accepting non-perishable and canned food donations at all of its store locations from Nov. 19-25.
