East Alton Bank robbed Friday morning, police say
The Regions Bank on West Main in East Alton was robbed Friday morning, police say.
The East Alton Police Department confirmed the robbery but did not have additional information Friday morning.
Regions Bank officials at corporate offices in Birmingham, Alabama, deferred questions to local law enforcement officials.
“I have no information that anybody was hurt,” said Regions spokesman Jeremy King.
