Car strikes gas main near Freeburg, closes Illinois 15
Illinois 15 was temporarily closed near Freeburg after a single-car accident Tuesday evening, according to police.
According to police, the car struck a gas main. The driver was airlifted to St. Louis and Ameren was on the scene working to repair the main.
