A driver suffered minor injuries after his SUV overturned Tuesday afternoon on a ramp near Interstate 255.
At about 11:40 a.m., the 2002 Ford SUV rolled over on the northbound ramp on Mousette Lane heading onto the interstate.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, told police his brakes went out when he was coming down the ramp. He attempted to make a right turn and instead hit a median, causing the SUV to flip over, Sauget Police Chief James Jones said.
The driver suffered lower body injuries in the crash, although they were not severe. The two passengers, a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were not injured at all, Jones said.
