Boil order lifted for Southern Illinois water district
Prairie DuPont water customers no longer have to boil their water before using it.
The St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency announced Friday that the Prairie DuPont water district had canceled the boil order announced Thursday. Prairie DuPont is based in East Carondelet.
The boil order was due to a water main break.
